Inspiré par les grandes agences mythiques, Manuel Besse a imaginé Posto 5 comme un collectif d’auteurs capables de travailler loin des formats figés, en explorateurs du monde et de ses humanités. Son expérience de terrain, forgée au fil de reportages au long cours, a nourri une conviction simple : une photographie forte naît toujours d’un regard incarné.
Aujourd’hui, Posto 5 réunit des photographes venus d’horizons multiples, guidés par la même exigence. Ensemble, nous produisons et diffusons des projets ambitieux : reportages, séries documentaires, collaborations éditoriales et expositions.

Inspirado pelas grandes agências míticas, Manuel Besse imaginou o Posto 5 como um coletivo de autores capazes de trabalhar longe de formatos rígidos, como exploradores do mundo e de sua humanidade. Sua experiência de campo, forjada ao longo de reportagens de longa duração, alimentou uma convicção simples: uma fotografia forte sempre nasce de um olhar encarnado.
Hoje, a Posto 5 reúne fotógrafos de diversas origens, guiados pela mesma exigência. Juntos, produzimos e divulgamos projetos ambiciosos: reportagens, séries documentais, colaborações editoriais e exposições.

Founded by photographer Manuel Besse, Posto 5 was born out of a clear desire: to create a place where photography could rediscover its intensity, freedom, and power to tell stories.
Inspired by the great legendary agencies, Manuel Besse imagined Posto 5 as a collective of authors capable of working beyond fixed formats, as explorers of the world and its humanity. His experience in the field, forged through long-term reporting, has nurtured a simple conviction: powerful photography always comes from an embodied perspective.
Today, Posto 5 brings together photographers from a variety of backgrounds, guided by the same high standards. Together, we produce and distribute ambitious projects: reports, documentary series, editorial collaborations, and exhibitions.
